Arc the Hotel is a trendy hotel in the heart of the nation’s capital.

Novotel

The Novotel Hotel is a modern hotel located in dowtown Ottawa next to the Rideau Centre. 

The hotel has 281 rooms, equipped with modern amenties, such as a large desk, cordless telephones, voice mail, and individual climate control. 

The hotel also has 6 meeting rooms that can be used for a variety of functions, including banquets, receptions, boardrooms, classrooms and theaters.  The capacity of the rooms ranges from 8 to 215 people.

The Trio restaurant is located at the hotel and features a menu of international food in a relaxed atmosphere.  It is open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  There is also a bar where you can get your favourite cocktail.

Chateau Laurier

The Chateau Laurier is Ottawa’s most famous hotel.  It is also possibly the most beautiful hotel in Ottawa, built to look like a French castle.  Its about as centrally located as one could be, situated right next door to Parliament Hill.

The hotel has health club facilities, including a 20 yard swimming pool, masseur, full fitness center, and saunas.  The health club is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the week and from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends.

Luxurious dining abounds at the Chateau Laurier.  The main restaurant is Wilfrid’s Restaurant, which is noted for its fine Canadian cuisine and spectacular window views.  Buffets are available for breakfast and lunch.  For more casual dining, visit Zoe’s Lounge, which features live entertainment and is noted for its afternoon tea.  There is also an outdoors terrace that is open in the summer if the weather permits.  Or, if you can prefer, the most popular items from the hotels restaurants are available for in-room dining.
